Janet Giles

Janet Giles is the first woman Secretary of the UTLC of South Australia, now known as SA Unions. Janet was the President of the SA Branch of the Australian Education Union and Deputy Federal President of the AEU. Janet has broad expertise and experience in industrial relations and workers rights, with particular interest in the issues facing women' workers and young workers.
