The inclusion of this target responds to a recommendation of the Community Engagement Board and feedback from the community engagement process.
Urban spaces are important in creating places for communities to interact and in how a society functions.
It recognises that urban planning is more than just efficient movement and that places play a critical role in how a society functions.
