Increase to $650m total gross cumulative value of industry and other funding for research earned by universities and state-based publicly funded research institutions by 2020

Explanatory Comments

The total gross cumulative value of industry and other funding for research earned by universities and state-based publicly funded research institutions (PFRI) was $610 milion for 2015.

State universities earned just over $62 million whilst state-based PFRI’s earned just over $57 million, $48 million of which was earned by the South Australian Research Development Institute (SARDI).
