97. University research income:

Increase the total gross value of university research income to 20% above South Australia's per capita share by 2014 and maintain thereafter

Explanatory Comments

The research income of South Australian universities per capita share decreased from 17.7% above SA’s population share in 2008 (the baseline year) to 12.69% in 2014. 

In 2009 and 2010, the target was exceeded however in 2014 target was not achieved. This target will continue to remain as a goal to achieve.
